There's lots going on at our new GLT plant in Maryborough.

Inside, we're in commissioning phase, testing early production of our famous Beam 17 and new LGL+ products. What we’re seeing come off the line has all the strength we intended, but with a better-than-expected visual grade. The team has been working hard since the October media open day, so it's great to see such fantastic results.

Outside, we’ve got our new LOVE TIMBER signage painted on to our water tanks facing Bruce Highway at Maryborough North which thousands of vehicles pass by daily. This sign was hand-painted by father and son team, Tim and Barry Klein from Klein signs. Dad, Barry is a master signwriter who learned his trade at Earls Maryborough from age 15 in the 1960’s. Klein Signs is another local business to benefit from over $5 million in contracts awarded in the development of the plant.

We’re expecting production to kick off in early in 2020. And we'll be sure to let you know when it does.
