Where to Use

Hyne Timber Beam 21 is suitable for indoor and outdoor, above ground applications in Australia.

Beam 21 can substitute steel beams in many high load, long span applications, while intrinsically exhibiting a deep, rich, organic aesthetic that only exotic hardwood can provide.

Beam 21 is made to order, and available in either a structural or select finish grade.

Grades

Beam 21 is available in two finish grades as per AS 1328.1 – 1998:

Appearance Grade A
Appearance Grade B

APPEARANCE GRADE A

Intended for use in applications where appearance is important and clear or painted finishes are used. All surface voids are therefore filled or repaired. Unless otherwise specified, the surfaces are sanded to a minimum 60 grit finish.

APPEARANCE GRADE B

Intended for use in painted applications or applications where appearance is not important. The surface is clean and planed but may exhibit minor blemishes.
