Grades

Beam 18 is available in two finish grades as per AS 1328.1 – 1998:

Appearance Grade A
Appearance Grade B

APPERANCE GRADE A

Intended for use in applications where appearance is important and clear or painted finishes are used. All surface voids are therefore filled or repaired. Unless otherwise specified, the surfaces are sanded to a minimum 60 grit finish.

APPEARANCE GRADE B

Intended for use in painted applications or applications where appearance is not important. The surface is clean and planed but may exhibit minor blemishes.
