Utilising world class manufacturing technology, Tuan Mill - located near Maryborough, Queensland - processes 30 year old Queensland plantation pine which is distributed by up to 180 trucks per day.

The mill employs approximately 200 people directly and provides significant indirect employment through contractor supply, site services and by-product processing.

The daily volume of structural framing produced by Tuan Mill would stretch from Hervey Bay to the Gold Coast.

Framing products (such as T2 Blue, T2 Red and T3 Green Plus) and by-products (such as bark, shavings and sawdust), are freighted out to sales and distribution outlets or directly to customers.

Tuan Mill has a number of by-product customers such as Laminex and Altus Renewables, ensuring that there is no waste generated.
 

Also utilising world class technology, 30 year old New South Wales and Victorian grown plantation pine is processed at Tumbarumba Mill and transported by almost 200 trucks per day.

Tumbarumba Mill directly employs approximately 200 people and provides significant indirect employment through contractor supply, site services and by-product processing.

The daily volume of structural framing produced on site would stretch from Tumbarumba to Melbourne.

The mill has a range of customers including those trading with our high quality structural framing products (T2 Blue, T3 Green Plus) and those dependent on our by-product (sawdust and shavings) such as Visy, ensuring that there is no waste generated by the process.
 

Hyne Timber's Glue Laminated Timber (GLT) Plant is located in Maryborough, Queensland.

The plant employs approximately 50 people and was established in 1978. 

The plant manufactures responsibly sourced Australian softwood (LGL, Beam 17) and hardwood (Beam 18, Beam 21) GLT products. All GLT products produced are 'S' Mark certified to give customers full confidence that Hyne Timber's GLT is audited and certified to the applicable Standard 'AS/NZS 1328.1:1998, Glue Laminated Structural Timber'.

The plant has a state-of-the-art Hundegger K2i CNC machine, which makes the supply of prefabricated components quicker and more cost efficient by cutting, drilling, slotting and profiling in a safe and highly accurate (computer controlled) environment.
