Hyne Timber are a family owned business who have been operating since 1882. Today, we employ approximately 608 people across 10 sites on the east coast of Australia.

Maryborough, QLD

The Hyne Timber story began in 1882 on the banks of the Mary River in Queensland. Maryborough is our roots and home for our:

  • Head Office
  • Tuan Mill
  • Glue Laminated Timber (GLT) Plant
Tumbarumba, NSW

Located on the western side of the Snowy Mountains in New South Wales, our Tumbarumba Mill directly employs approximately 200 people and provides significant indirect employment through contractor supply, site services and by-product processing in the region.

We have three distribution centres along the Eastern seaboard:
  • Cairns, QLD
  • Sunshine Coast, QLD
  • Newcastle, NSW
Corporate Offices
